On Day 2 we'll turn to some of the core tools in the fmWorkMate toolbox: fmCheckMate and fmLogAnalyser We'll learn - how to convert FileMaker code to/from fmxml using fmCheckmate - how to change code with search and replace, e.g. variable names - deploy or patch code / transfer code to another machine with fmCheckMate - about (the good + the bad of) FileMaker's import.log file - how to catch code-import / pasting issues with fmLogAnalyser - how to turn your import.log / broken code into a to-do list - how to turn on the fmLogAnalyser BugOff! alarm to catch EVERY mistake If time, we'll take a look at fmTextConverter to move/re-contextualise code between databases, files or tables
